[MPlayer-advusers] GPJM codec (Pinnacle ReelTime MJPEG)

hello,

i have video that plays on MPlayer OSXB8r2, but does NOT play on the the
latest mplayer for osx (version 1.0pre8):

video capture hardware: PINNACLE DC10+ video card on a win95 pc

mplayer osxb8r2 says the codec is GPJM (Pinnacle ReelTime MJPEG)

note also that the VLC player can play back this video just fine.

also:

ultimately i need to transcode this and many other clips to a more
transportable format, so i can view and edit on my powermac g4 running osx
10.3.9. i assume i need a player that can play back and export this video to
a lossless, uncompressed format. i would greatly appreciate suggestions.
