[MEncoder-users] Mencoder involved in system crashes? WAS: DVD rip (to avi) using mencoder

Reimar, thank you for looking into this!

However, I've had more hard time these days due to these crashes (the crashes got even worse for a while), and I wasn't able to reply sooner. There should be a little more, partly related, to follow up at the neighboring issue:
[minipli/linux-unofficial_grsec] kernel tried to execute NX-protected page - exploit attempt?
