From wsc4 at optusnet.com.au Thu Jul 28 15:01:20 2016 From: wsc4 at optusnet.com.au (Bill Crockett) Date: Thu, 28 Jul 2016 22:01:20 +1000 Subject: [MEncoder-users] -ss and -endpos is not precise Message-ID: -ss and -endpos is not precise enough and will give inaccurate results when trying to start exactly at a keyframe or end exactly on a keyframe. This is with mjpeg avi files were every frame has a keyframe before it. Searching through Gmane, a program was suggested called AVISPLIT by T. Oestreich. Splits the input file based on time/framecode (hh:mm:ss.ms) and is 100% pin-point exact. It is a Linux command-line program, but I am trying to find if it was compiled also to Windows by someone. Any help or suggestions appreciated.
