[MEncoder-users] Mencoder (and HandBrake) both exit after 1st .VOB file

Mplayer plays this VIDEO_TS normally, but I am unable to encode it, as the
encode always exits after the first .VOB, which plays back normally as far
as it goes.

It will encode beyond this limit if I use the -chapters option, but the
encode is unsatisfactory as the video and audio get progressively more out
of phase with each other, and playback ultimately alternates between frozen
video while the sound plays, then no audio while the video plays.

For example, here is part of the log produced when I just encoded chapter 12

mencoder dvd://2 -dvd-device VIDEO_TS -chapter 12 -o f.avi -oac copy
-ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4

mplayer f.avi

...

Movie-Aspect is 1.25:1 - prescaling to correct movie aspect.
