Since you may not know:
MEncoder is not an actively maintained application for 
several years, you are encouraged to use FFmpeg (which 
is actively maintained) whenever possible.
Some time ago, many MEncoder features where not 
available within FFmpeg, this has changed now, only 
very few MEncoder features are not available in FFmpeg, 
none of them used by your command line (on the 
contrary, your command only seems to use FFmpeg).
