It's OK. I didn't mean to break any rules.

A quick note: only now do I find this e-mail. Poor eyesight and very
poor monitors problem. would have replied earlier otherwise.

I only thought it would have been cross-posting to copy things that
are already explained somewhere.

I can try and isolate the problem.

As first thing, I don't think it could properly appy to mplayer
itself, because it really is about capturing not only the video, but
also the audio.

I did alsto report the problem on ffmpeg list, because I ususally (not
the GNU Linux way anyway) don't search for osolution in single
direction...

There is also the problem of mine in the second (very clumsy) video,
and I did report that video on ffmpeg list.

I guess I had better accept to try and post my problem here from the
beginning.

But allow me make it in the next post, pls!
