This subject is listed in the December archive.  The frame cut problem 
was sorted out by using -hr-edl-seek.  However, it cannot be used with 
-ovc copy.  For this reason, I have decided not to bother about this any 
more.  I must have done something wrong at first with FFmpeg, because 
doing another test with Transport Stream MPEG's and -vcodec copy -acodec 
copy, produced perfectly in sync videos with the audio.
