[MEncoder-users] problems with x.264 from an IPTV stream

I'm using mplayer/mencoder from http://www.debian-multimedia.org.
Upto about a month ago I was able to watch and record the iptv stream 
from SiOL TV on my debian machine, but now all I get is error messages 
like this:

And I no longer get any frames in the capture - either watching with 
mplayer or trying to record with mencoder. (I understand the "stream not 
seekable" are not a problem, I had them when everything worked).

I don't know if the SiOL people changed their codec, or if it was a 
change in mencoder/mplayer.
Anybody have any hints on what I can do to be able to view/reencode the 
stream again?
