This exact command line works fine for me with an ogg/theora/vorbis file (1080)
as input.

Didn't you cut the important part of the output here?
However: Please remove as many options as possible (including the external
encoders) and also try with mplayer and the scaler, then produce a useful
backtrace and report back.
