That's normal. That is the aspect ratio of each pixel, NOT the picture
as a whole. SAR=1/1 means that each pixel is square. Custom pixel AR is
a feature of AVC that allows the picture to have a resolution that
doesn't match the displayed aspect ratio. MPEG-2 has this feature as
well and it is used in DVDs.
