Well, I don't have problems with it. Yes, there is a latency, but it is 
not disturbing, at least not for me.

Yup, it isn't really neccesary to get this working, just messing around. 
Of course a hardware solution is more practical, but a software solution 
is definitely easier to work with and is cool.
