[MEncoder-users] Cropping fails on DVD

Sorry to ask the obvious.......

Is it possible the picture frame changes sizes from the beginning of
the DVD and when the film starts?

I've noticed sometimes cropdetect 'locks' on the first size and never
then recalculates the resize.

Can I suggest run the cropdetect again with a -ss 30:00.00 in there
(about 30 minutes into DVD) and see if you get the same numbers.

Good Luck
