[MEncoder-users] A-V sync tools

Hi.

The mencoder's -delay option works to sync audio and video which are
slightly out on an MPEG2 encoded file. However, it is difficult to
figure out when they align exactly just by watching and listening with
MPlayer.

Does MPlayer offer any features which help determine the right -delay
value for sync'ing audio and video?

I'm thinking something like displaying an audio waveform while moving
frame-to-frame would be perfect.

Alternately, what other tools are good for determining this?

Much thanks,
Chris.
