Thanks, Luciano. Whenever I've checked the framerate of a commercial MPEG-2
file, I always get 24. And when I encode a movie from my set top cable box,
the only way the motion looks right is when I convert to 24 fps using one of
several different methods, nearly always incorporating deinterlacing. I'm
not sure either.
