[MEncoder-users] Significant brightness difference between DirectX and OpenGL output (Planar YV12 and BGR 24-bit, respectively)

I find that DirectX output is much lighter than OpenGL output. It seems
that the OpenGL output is more accurate, at least with brightness. Why
is this?
