[MEncoder-users] Recovering progressive film out of 1080i program stream

Hi all,

I searched through the archives and could not find anything dealing
with this.  I have an ATSC program stream that I captured in 1080i
format that I would like to inverse telecline or somehow recover all
of the progressive frames to get 1080p/24.  I have had some success
doing this with AviSynth, but I am looking for a solution with
MEncoder.  Does anybody here have first-hand success with this using
mencoder and would be willing to post their command line?  Much
appreciated!
