I am trying to convert my movies produced by my Panasonic Lumix camera
from the original format to x264 to save diek space. The result is bad,
the sound is delayed, or better the video is too fast, i guess.
The command what I am using:
mencoder p1040672.mov -o p1040672.avi -oac pcm -ovc x264 -x264encopts
qp=20:threads=3
I see similar messages:
Pos: 9.7s 322f ( 5%) 12.02fps Trem: 7min 170mb A-V:0.070
[8263:128]
Skipping frame!
Pos: 10.0s 332f ( 5%) 12.04fps Trem: 7min 170mb A-V:0.070
[8247:128]
Skipping frame!
Every 0.3s I see "Skipping frame". I guess, this can be the problem,
that is why at position 10s the frame counter already 330 instead of 300
. The original movie has 30 fps.
What to do? Every help is appreciated.
Tibor
