My experience is that -mc 0, even on "good" sources, increases the
chance of a/v desync much much more than mencoder's default sync
system. I've kinda always had problems with mencoder + dts audio,
especially when copying it. I don't deal much with dts, but whenever I
do, the chance is very high that I'll have some problems, either frame
skipping or desync and -mc 0 has never been able to fix it for me.
