[MEncoder-users] dark vobsub subtitles

ok, I finally got around to testing this and it didn't work.  I copied
the video_ts.ifo file from the dvd and used -ifo with -vobsubout and
the subs still came out dark.

I have one solution, though, which is to rip the subs directly from
the dvd as opposed to the stream dump.  I prefer the stream dump as
keeping the dvd spun up for several hours seems inefficient, but I can
live with that...  unless you or anyone else has any other ideas....
