[MEncoder-users] Is this possible to join MP4 files using mencoder

I am trying to join two MP4 files (this is same as apple MOV I guess)
Files are encoded with H264/AAC.

Mencoder just doesn't work, it says:

All video files must have identical 
fps, resolution, and codec for -ovc copy.


Yes, fps are slightly different 29.33, 29.36

Can't this be recorded in video file?

Can you give me an explanation on how exactly A/V sync and rate control is implemented
in AVI and MOV files?

I don't want to reencode those files.
