[MEncoder-users] Can I split multi-chunked AVI?

Hi, All,

I've an AVI (XVID) file of 2+ GBytes in size. Of course it is multi-chunked. 
Chunk size is 1023 MBytes. I.e. It has 2 chunks of 1023 MBytes each + one 
extra small chank.

My problem is that my DVD player does not support multi-chunked AVI's. Can I 
use MEncoder somehow to split this AVI into different AVI's with single 
chunk in each?

This is because I doun't like to re-encode this file, so I'd prefer to split 
it somehow.
