[MEncoder-users] Avoiding audio sync problems

Dear people,

I know that mencoder can only manage one audio stream at time. My question 
then is, which it the "best" way to handle a file that I would like to threat 
with mencoder that has one video stream and two or more audio streams?

mencoder video + audio1 and after avimerge / mkv /mp4 tools to add the other/s 
streams?

mencoder video without audio after merge the audios with any tool of the 
container?
