[MEncoder-users] from h264+AAC (mp4) to Xvid+AAC (avi)

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if conversion from h264+AAC (mp4) to Xvid+AAC (avi) is 
possible with mencoder. I've tried :

mencoder -ovc xvid -oac copy -xvidencopts fixed_quant=3 -o out.avi input.mp4

but it doesn't work because the framerate of input.mp4 is variable. The speed 
of audio stream during the play is faster than video. Does anyone know what i 
can to do? Thanks a lot for every reply and sorry for my bad english.
