[MEncoder-users] Which deinterlacing with camcorder-avi?

When I read the manpage, I find different deinterlacing possibilities.

Can you please recommend one for avi-files created by a DV-camcorder?

Till now I use:

mencoder movie.avi -aspect 16/9 -vf pullup,softskip,harddup -nosound -ovc 
x264 -x264encopts 
bitrate=6000:subq=5:bframes=3:b_pyramid:weight_b:turbo=1:threads=auto:pass=1 -of 
rawvideo -o /dev/null
