I have tried it with and without that line, but it doesn't seem to make any
difference. The end result is still a grey mess...

The thing is, I still get that norm=NTSC-M when the program runs, and
nothing seems to work to change that to PAL. I think that might be part of
the problem, but really don't know. It is just a guess because at this stage
I have nothing else to go on.
