When I copied an avi file with: mencoder -quiet -oac copy -ovc copy original.avi -o copy.avi the copy.avi had the same duration and it looked and sounded fine, but it was substantially smaller: copy.avi - 297M original.avi - 368M I wonder why. Does it mean, the quality of the copy is inferior to that of the original? Thanks, Tomasz
