Remuxing does not involve encoding anything and does not reduce quality.

I would expect -mc 10 to help.  Perhaps -vfm ffmpeg also.

You should really try a SVN snapshot before reporting problems.

And in the future, don't cut the output.  What you cut out can contain
the most important info.
