[MEncoder-users] how to do a screenshot

When I want to do a screenshot, I have to do -vo x11, but that's for
mplayer. Are you posting on the right list?

Apparently mplayer prefers xv for output but that leaves you with
a blue square where the picture would be in your screenshot
