[MEncoder-users] Two audio-related problems with mencoder (dev-SVN-r23550-3.3.4)

Hi,
 I'm trying to rip a movie taken with my digital video camera.

1st problem: bad audio index (?)

The following command line creates a file which can be played by mplayer, 
but the audio will restart from zero every time I seek:

mencoder demo_maestri.mpg -ovc lavc -oac lavc -lavcopts 
autoaspect:vcodec=mpeg4: acodec=mp2:vpass=1 -o demo_maestri.avi -frames 
1000 -v

2nd problem: no support for mp3 encoding, even if lame found in 
configuration. Complete output from mencoder and configure.log are
