Nico,

I'm using an old version of faac : 1.24.1
For Mencoder, I'm running SVN-r23404-4.2.0, but the problem have been around
for a some time : I tried different versions, under windows and others
compiled myself under linux and the problem was still there. I posted a
first report here back in april, but I don't remember which version I was
running at that time :

Regarding the hardware, my sound chip is the stock nvidia nforce2 5.1. I
have also tested the samples on a Mac book G4. As mentionned previously, the
original MP2 sound is fine (from the mpeg program stream), and encoding with
mp3lame is fine. Only AAC is problematic so I guess it's not a hardware
issue.
