[MEncoder-users] DVD with vfr av-sync problem

Hi,
I'm trying to encode a DVD with vfr (24/30 fps) and I get some AV-sync 
problems (about 200-300 ms delay), it seems to affect only some scenes.

I tried mencoder 1.0pre8 and 1.0rc1

I get lines  like:
demux_mpg: 30000/1001fps NTSC content detected, switching framerate.
Warning! FPS changed 23.976 -> 29.970  (-5.994005)

Already tried with several command lines...  with/out ofps, noskip, oac 
lavc/mp3lame/pcm, etc.

help please
