1- The man page mention explicitely that tfields=0 leaves fields *untouched*.
2- implicitely, in the context of interlaced video a "field" has half
the number of lines of a "frame" (I mean the frame where the two
fields are stored)

framerate but with half the height (number of lines) of the input
file.

According to Nico, I was wrong assuming that (..."height is doubled"...)
