AFAIK, any of the usual audio-related -lavcopts should apply; see the
man page.

But it shows up in my mail client as threaded in the middle of the
"MEncoder segfault" thread, in which you were posting extensively.
Specifically, it shows up as a reply to the post in which you provided
the results of 'bt' on MPlayer compiled with '-g'.

Almost invariably, when this sort of thing happens, it is because the
post was composed by starting from an existing post in a thread and
hitting Reply, then snipping out the quoted material and changing the
Subject line. The correct thing to do is to not start out with a reply,
but to create a new message unrelated to any previous post and enter the
correct E-mail address.

(Interestingly enough, I note that the first post in the "MEncoder
segfault" thread also appears as a reply to another post, in the middle
of the "h264 3-pass mode" thread. Dieter's first response unhijacked it
and created a new thread - probably intentionally - but the original
post is definitely in the other location.)
