Hi,
yesterday I found a weird problem. I use mencoder under cygwin. I grab films with
VirtualDub. The avi file has the video encoded to ffmjpeg, and audio to PCM. I
played it with mplayer and the audio and video seems to be in synchron.
After that I encoded it to mpeg-4 in two passes using these commands:
mencoder.exe -oac copy -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:\
vbitrate=1000:mbd=2:mv0:trell:v4mv:cbp:last_pred=3:predia=2:dia=2:vmax_b_frames=2:\
precmp=2:cmp=2:subcmp=2:preme=2:autoaspect=1:aglobal=3:vb_strategy=1:turbo:\
vpass=1 -vf pp=lb,pp7,pullup,softskip,crop=704:560:8:8,hqdn3d=2:1:2,harddup \
-passlogfile 'film.pass' -aspect 4/3 -o nul 'film.avi'
mencoder.exe -oac mp3lame -lameopts vbr=3:mode=1 -ovc lavc -lavcopts \
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=1000:mbd=2:mv0:trell:v4mv:cbp:last_pred=3:\
predia=2:dia=2:vmax_b_frames=2:precmp=2:cmp=2:subcmp=2:preme=2:autoaspect=1:\
aglobal=3:vpass=2 \
-vf pp=lb,pp7,pullup,softskip,crop=704:560:8:8,hqdn3d=2:1:2,harddup \
-forceidx -passlogfile 'film.pass' -aspect 4/3 \
-o 'film_new.avi' 'film.avi'
The audio and video get unsynched. I even tried with the "-mc 0 -noskip", but the
result is the same.
I converted a lot of other films the same way got from the same source. How could
this happen just with this film??? Could anyone help me find out what do I wrong?
Thanks in advance!
