[MEncoder-users] Mencoder Voice De-Sync with MP3 Audio Codec

As instructed, I upgraded my version of mplayer and
mencoder to rc1.  I also modified my mencoder options
to use -ofps 30000/1001 without -mc 0 -noskip:

mencoder test.mov -oac lavc -ovc lavc -of mpeg
-mpegopts format=dvd:tsaf -vf
rotate=1,expand=853:640,scale=640:480,harddup -srate
48000 -af lavcresample=48000 -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg2video:vrc_buf_size=1835:vrc_maxrate=9800:vbitrate=5000:keyint=18:acodec=mp3:abitrate=192
-ofps 30000/1001 -o test.mpg

This time it transcoded the file with very few skipped
frames and synced the audio and video perfectly
throughout the entire length of the file.
