[MEncoder-users] Help with x264 and faac

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to transcode a file.asf to file.mp4 using x264 and faac codec to obtain a very good compression.
I did the following:

mencoder file.asf -o file.mp4 -of lavf -lavfopts format=mp4:i_certify_that_my_video_stream_does_not_use_b_frames -oac faac -ovc x264 

The result was a file.mp4 bigger that original file.asf and when I played the file.mp4 the video is faster to audio.

What can i do to resolve that, any idea?
