Read closer the message that MPlayer gave you:

Option of: Unknown suboption rawaudio

I don't know the exact syntax, but a quick look at the man page should
tell you that. (be carefull though to not look at the online doc, as
it refers to cvs version).

Just because code is syntactically "valid" GNU C doesn't mean gcc can
always compile it.
