[MEncoder-users] Strange Sub Title Problem

CVS build -MPlayer dev-CVS-060103-11:58-3.2.3
MPlayer dev-CVS-050928-16:38-3.4.2

I have a DVD with 3 subtitles (en, fr, es)

if i use the following i get some very strange results

mplayer dvd://1 -dvd-device E:\ -chapter 14-14 -aid 0x80 -slang fr
no sub titles, until, I scroll with the mouse wheel, but they are english

mplayer dvd://1 -dvd-device E:\ -chapter 14-14 -aid 0x80 -slang es
no sub titles, until, I scroll with the mouse wheel, but they are french!

Both mplayer dos text windows, show the correct subtitle channel being 
selected

Selected DVD subtitle channel: 1 language: fr
Selected DVD subtitle channel: 2 language: es


Am i doing something wrong
