[MEncoder-users] segfault when using "probesize"

I tried to recompile with "--enable-debug=3", but then I got

cabac.h:522: error: can't find a register in class 'GENERAL_REGS' while
reloading 'asm'

On IRC I was told to add -fomit-frame-pointer for the compilation of h264,
which worked. But continuing with make gave me

So, how do I compile a debug-version of mencoder?
