[MEncoder-users] TV capturing uses 100% of CPU power!!!

Hi,
Another problem, I use MEncoder to record several TV shows, but recently
it only captures at about 13fps (of 29.97) and consuming all the
processor power while dropping a lot of frames... The resulting video is
a slide show with background music! :P
I don't know what causes this problem, it may be something related to
v4l kernel headers.
I use Arch Linux and this started to happen after a big upgrade, however
nobody in their forums seems to have the same problems. I have tried an
old CVS version, SVN updates and the 1.0pre8 release.
It's very weird, because before, mencoder used about 50% or less of
processing power.
This is part of the recording script I'm using...
TVOPTS="driver=v4l2:input=0:width=512:height=384:normid=1:chanlist=us-cable"
mencoder tv://$1 $ENDPOS -tv $TVOPTS -vf pp=lb,denoise3d -oac mp3lame
-lameopts mode=3:cbr:br=96 -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:mbd=2:vbitrate=1500 -o VCR$1.av
And this is part of the output:
1 duplicate frame(s)!
Pos: 281.3s 6109f ( 0%) 13.10fps Trem: 0min 0mb A-V:0.000 [1085:95]
video buffer full - dropping frame
Pos: 281.4s 6110f ( 0%) 13.10fps Trem: 0min 0mb A-V:0.000 [1085:96]
1 duplicate frame(s)!
video buffer full - dropping frame
video buffer full - dropping frame

video buffer full - dropping frame
video buffer full - dropping frame
video buffer full - dropping frame
video buffer full - dropping frame
video buffer full - dropping frame
video buffer full - dropping frame
v4l2: 9144 frames successfully processed, 12 frames dropped.
Any clue??? The video card is BT848 based, but as I said, I didn't have
any problems before.
Thanks!!
