[MEncoder-users] Looking for aconvert

Just downloaded the latest Mplayer/Mencoder (MPlayer v1.0pre7try2) and
built it successfully. Unfortunately one of the things I want to use
it for is audio conversion. The FAQ says this is done using a script
called "aconvert" in the TOOLS directory. Unfortunately my TOOLS
directory doesn't seme to have this script, where can I get it and/or
how do I use mencoder to do the same thing?
