[MEncoder-users] mpegopts vframerate working?

I am using mencoder with mpegopts in an attempt to create DVD output. Among 
other options, I am using:
 -oac lavc -ovc lavc -lavcopts 
acodec=ac3:abitrate=192:vcodec=mpeg2video:vbitrate=3000:keyint=15 -vf 
scale=720:480,harddup -of mpeg -mpegopts 
vaspect=4/3:vbitrate=3000:format=dvd:vframerate=30000/1001 -ofps 30000/1001
 When I run tcprobe (from transcode) on the output file, though, it 
consistently reports the framerate as 23.976 (24000/1001). Does vframerate 
work or is tcprobe broken?
