[MEncoder-users] xvid profiles

Hi,

I am using mencoder with xvid 1.1 beta 2 to re-encode my video files for 
smooth playback on my philips divx player. When I encode in virtualdub I 
get the wanted results using the dxn ht pal profile. I also want to use 
this profile in mencoder but when I encode with the profile option (as 
stated in the mencoder manual) it says:

Option xvidencopts: Unknown suboption profile

Any ideas how to solve this?
