[MEncoder-users] select 3rd of 3 audio streams out of td-file

I'm new to using mencoder 1.0pre5-3.3.3 a (on fedora core 2).
I'm trying to encode a TS-stream-file -->mpeg4. The TS-file contains 3 
diffrent audiostreams, the 3rd of them, the one i want to extract is 
AC3. Unfortunately i can't get it copied into the encoded avi file.

im calling mencoder with the following basic options:
mencoder -ovc lavc -lavcopts 
vcodec=mpeg4:threads=2:acodec=ac3:vbitrate=1200 -oac lavc   -o test.avi 
test.ts

In order to use the 3rd Stream (ac3) i tried  to the "-aid" option to 
mencoder but that dind't work.
Any suggestions?
