[MEncoder-users] Mencoder adding AVI file header to MPEG2 capture from V4L device?

I changed the options to use lavc for video AND audio as illustrated 
below, and except for three "INITIAL DELAY" messages, it seems to run 
fine with good sync now.

-lavcopts vcodec=mpeg2video:vbitrate=4000:keyint=25 -tv

-vf harddup -noskip -af volume=-10 -o tv.mpg tv://
