Hi, I am not a good Windows-helper, but I may recomment to remove
DivX and XviD BOTH, if you have ffdshow, remove it also.
Then reboot and try to play video.
Nothing should happen, an error message should popup.
Then install ffdshow and REBOOT. Then try to play again.
I strongly not recommend WMP. Light Alloy, BSplayer, Crystal Player - 
they all are much better.
