there are at least 3 lossless jpeg standards
lossless jpeg, jpeg ls and lossless jpeg 2000
IIRC jpeg ls has the best compression rate
AFAIK -vo jpeg doesnt support anything lossless
lavc supports lossless jpeg, and i had a half finished jpeg ls
implementation for lavc somewhere ...
