Ok, it appears I spoke too soon here -- the slider actually is selecting
the processing strength. It was just hard for me to see the difference
because, for some reason, Media Player Classic doesn't run fast enough
on my laptop even with the slider set all the way to the minimum. I get
a halting slideshow either way, and I was expecting it to work once I
got SPP low enough. I'm going to have to find somebody with a fast
computer and see if I can find a workable setting.
