[MEncoder-users] Mencoder -mf option not encoding all files

Hi all.
I''m using mencoder to encode to avi jpgs generated by some security
cameras, the file are written in a ftp server with this filename
format camX_datetime (e.g cam4_20041224190000.jpg) . The problem is,
mencoder doesn't seem to encode all .jpg files.
For example from a list of 1149 files (from 1 hour recording) it only
encodes 56 frames.
Using different sets of .jpg files , (between 400-1000 files) it
always encodes less files that there are on the disk.
Any clue on this will be highly appreciated.
BTW: I have tried with mpeg4/mjpeg codecs with the same result.
