[Libav-user] Latency encoding voice

I am using two raspberry pis to send and receive audio.  I am multicasting
from the source to the destination.  I use avconv on both sides and get
about 6 seconds of latency from one to the other.

If i use ffmpeg the latency drops to a quarter of half a second.  I use
ffmpeg on both RPIs.
